Design and Usage Standards

Introduction


Our design and usage standards provides best practices for using Catapult Web Solutions’ assets across different platforms. From logo placement to consistent messaging, follow these guidelines to uphold our brand’s integrity.
Logo Usage
 
 
  • Clear Space: Maintain a minimum clear space around the logo equivalent to the height of the “C” shaped graphic.
  • Logo Variations: The proper app icon, full-color graphic and/or black-and-white versions should be used to ensure that the logo is prominently displayed. When needed, it is permissible to use the solo app icon graphic or text only versions of the logo.
  • Transparent Background: The logo should always appear with transparent background to avoid a white box surrounding our logo against non-white background.
  • Incorrect Usage: Distorted, stretched, recolored, overlapping or cropped logos.

  • Style:
    • Authentic and relatable, depicting real-life small business environments.
    • Themed imagery - abstract style, content related
    • Diverse collection of races and genders, where appropriate.
  • Sources:
    • Freepik
    • Pixabay
    • Unsplash
  • Avoid: Generic stock images that feel impersonal or staged.

NOTE: If images are from other sources, we require you provide a copy of usage license for our records.
Tone and Voice
 
    •    Conversational: Speak directly to small business owners using a friendly tone.
    •    Clear and Concise: Avoid jargon and explain technical concepts simply.
